Games for NAP Every Friday there are games for all the NAP groups to participate in. Depending on the weather, some groups will be inside and some outside. It's a chance for the students to not only get some exercise but also develop teamwork through friendly competition. Some of the games are: Scooter soccer - teams of students are on scooters on the wrestling deck. They try to kick the ball into the opponents' goal. Numbers soccer - each team lines up outside on the edge of the elementary school's soccer field. The team members are numbered off. When the teacher calls off certain numbers (1,3,5,7 for instance), those team members (from both sides) run out and kick a soccer ball into the opponent's goal. There is no goalie. Ultimate frisbee - team members need to throw a frisbee to a teammate after three steps. If it is dropped, the other team takes it from there. If it is intercepted, play continues from that spot. Each team tries to throw the frisbee into the opponents goal (outside on the elementary soccer field). Foot hoop - football on the basketball court! Like ultimate frisbee, each team tries to pass the ball up and down the court taking only three steps at most. The team scores a point if it can get the football through the hoop. Blind man volleyball - using one oversized beach ball and a net that is covered, teams try to keep the ball in play like volleyball. Fat Bat - one "fat" bat and one "fat" ball play by softball rules.
