Why would you ever want to store files on a school network when you can store them on the cloud and have access to them 24x7??  And it's free!

Many of these services offer free phone apps as well for accessing these files from your mobile devices.

Google Docs: With Google, you can store unlimited Google Doc files and 1 gig of non-Google files for free.  You can also store up to 1 gig of pictures in your Picasa web albums.
