I recommend keeping all of your questions typed out in a Google Document (Or OpenOffice or Microsoft Word document) and then copy and paste them into your favorite quizzing applications. You may also want to look at a Google Spreadsheet or Excel file to be able to export as a CSV file for importing into your quizzing web site. Developing online quizzes: Quia's site offers online quizzes and games. (There is a subscription fee each year. $49/yr.) Noel's sample site: Quia's site Take a look at a sample page. Try our Norris Staff Challenge Game or a sample multiple choice quiz. Quia survey developed by ESU5. (All have been Developed on Quia.) There are There are many activities that are available for free. Funbrain offers some nice free materials as well as online quizzing. (There is a subscription fee for the Quiz section which is now http://www.mygradebook.com/ $49/yr.) There are many activities that are available for free. Quiz Star offers a online quizzing site. (One of the best free quizzing sites.) (Look at all of the other tools here.) ThatQuiz is a free site where you can create quizzes, add classes and students. Not as fancy as some, but free. It does have a lot of free, pre-made math quizes. (Phil Severson in our MS uses this site!) Smile is a site that allows free on-line Quizes and activities to be made. (Free- Michigan State University maintains this site!) Quizbuilder Offers a nice online quiz feature where it builds the HTML Code for you to insert into your web page. Study Stack is a great site used by a lot of educators for creating flash cards and online activities for reviewing. (Also has an app for your mobile phone.) Quizlet Students and teachers can produce flashcards and quizzes. They can also study vocabulary, share quizzes, and practice flashcards! Create your own or choose from the existing database. Fast, easy & free! Use your facebook account or register with an e-mail account. Use Google and Google add-ins for quizzing: For Norris staff, we recommending using these Google tools, since all user accounts, logins, and management can be done through your Google login. You can create many online quizzes and self grading quizzes using Google forms.
