Welcome to 9th grade English. I am sure we will have a great year.

For both students and parents: Please don't hesitate to email or call me. It is vital for 9th graders to stay on top of due dates and upcoming activities to help them (you) from falling behind. The freshman year is fraught with changes and difficulties both academically and socially. The year will go better if we communicate with each other.

My job is to help facilitate students' learning. However, students must take an active part in their education too. Be proactive by asking questions and advocating for yourself.

I can't wait to get started.

I will be sending updates and reminders via twitter. Don't worry about my sending useless information about what's happening in my life, as all the notices will be Norris-related.
