Subject Area(s): English 9 and Sophomore Composition Home Town: I grew up in Hebron, Nebraska as the youngest of a large family (16 to be exact). I then lived in Lincoln for ten years before moving to Tecumseh for 8 years. However, my family moved to the Roca/Hickman area this past summer. Degrees Held & Institution Received From: Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in Broadcasting; Bachelor of Science in English/Language Arts from Peru State College. Favorite thing about teaching: Working with youth and helping them discover their gifts, interacting with other educators to meet the needs of all students, facing the challenge of working in a complex career, and being a role model of a life-long learner.
Hobbies/Interest Areas: When I am not busy attending my
kids' activities, I enjoy reading, going to plays, taking
photographs, playing on the computer, camping, and running.
