My first Norris class!

Hi, My name is Peggy Onwiler and I teach Kindergarten at Norris Elementary School.  I began teaching at Norris in 2002 after teaching 6 years at St. Peter's School in Lincoln.  Prior to that I taught 2 years at Shelton Public Schools in Shelton, NE.  I graduated from the University of NE at Kearney. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education with an endorsement in assessment. 

My family continues to grow as we now have five children, two daughters-in-law, and one granddaughter.   We live in Panama and love being part of the Norris school system.  We have two dogs, Suzie and Lexi.

I love teaching because I get to see the excitement of the children as they learn and grow.  There is nothing like the glow of a young person's eyes as they "get it"!
