My first Norris class!

Hi, My name is Peggy Onwiler and I teach Kindergarten at Norris Elementary School.  I began teaching at Norris in 2002 after teaching 6 years at St. Peter's School in Lincoln.  Prior to that I taught 2 years at Shelton Public Schools in Shelton, NE.  I graduated from the University of NE at Kearney. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education with an endorsement in assessment. 

My family consists of my husband, Don, and our children, Phil and his wife, Maggie, Mark and his fiancé, Jordan, Tim and Janessa.   We also have other children that we claim as our own through the magic of being foster parents.   We live in Panama and love being part of the Norris school system.  We have two dogs, Suzie and Lexi.

I love teaching because I get to see the excitement of the children as they learn and grow.  There is nothing like the glow of a young person's eyes as they "get it"!
