     Mrs. Gushard comes and talks to our class once a month about a character word.  In August we learn about Cooperation.

     We  use Time for Kids as a Science resource.  This provides us with up to date factual information.  We also have several thematic units through out the year.  In kindergarten we also have "Switch Days" where students go to different rooms when we have a theme for the day and they do activities in a room based on the theme.  Science is incorporated weekly into our units.  It is an on-going learning process.  Students are also able to take part in the Science Fair which takes place in April.

BELOW-    In Science we are learning about tree homes.  This week we learned about bears, owls, and raccoons.  Students know many interesting facts.
