Favorite thing about teaching:
I LOVE working with children and watching their face as they grasp a
concept for the first time. Watching them take risks and feel
successful is a thrill. It is so exciting to see them grow and learn
and discover they have grasped so many concepts as the year goes along.
Family:
Husband-Gary, We have 3 children: Natasha is 26
and got married to our wonderful son-in-law Bill in June. They
live in Hickman so we are fortunate to see them often.
Brittany is 23 and will be in her 5th year at the University of Nebraska in
Omaha. She is majoring in elementary education/Special Education.
She will be student teaching in a 2nd grade classroom in Elkhorn in the
fall and then will do her special education student teaching in the
spring. Tyler is 16
and will be a junior at Norris. He loves all sports.
Hobbies/Interest Areas:
I enjoy scrap booking,
reading, gardening, spending time with my family, and attending our
children's activities.
