Personal Background
I was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska. In June of 1999, I
married David, who grew up in the Hallam, Nebraska area. We have been
blessed with two beautiful children. Our son, Gage, was born in 2001 and our daughter,

Outside of school, I enjoy

Background
My first teaching job was with Omaha Public Schools for the 1995-1996 school
year. At OPS, I worked at Omaha South High School, Omaha Bryan High School,
Omaha Bryan Junior High School and three alternative schools: Blackburn Senior
High, Blackburn Junior High and Parrish School. During the fall of 1996, I took
time off from teaching to journey into the area of private rehabilitation. In
January 1997, I returned to working in the
schools and I joined the staff at Milford Public Schools working with preschool through high school aged students. I taught at
Milford through May of 1999. In August of 1999, I began my
experience with the Norris School District. During that time, I have
worked with students from upper elementary grades
through high school. At the beginning of the 2006-2007 school year, my
position was changed to working solely with grades 2 - 4. I work with students in individual and small group
settings as well as in the classrooms as a team-teacher. |
