Farmhouse Fraternity Scholarship
Eligibility:
The criteria for determining the scholarship winners will be based on three
important areas:
1. 30% will be based on scholarship and
academics.
2. 30% will be based on
leadership activities and other general activities.
3. 20% will be based on the letter of
recommendation.
4. 20% based on monetary
need.
Financial Data: Three - $200 scholarships within the state.
Deadline: April 28
Delta Tau Delta
Fraternity Scholarship
Eligibility: Open to a male
student planning to attend UNK in the fall of 2008.

Learn and Work Scholarship
Eligibility:
1. Demonstrated
Financial Need
2. Special consideration given to students
demonstrating an ability to overcome personal challenges and obstacles in the
pursuit of educational goals
3. Academic Excellence during High School or
College
4. Two or four year college candidates
considered
5. Special consideration is given to candidates
from southeast Nebraska, and those planning on attending school in southeast
Nebraska.
6. Demonstrated Spirituality
7. Work Study Willingness – scholarship
recipients attending College in or near Lincoln will be eligible, if they
desire, to increase their scholarship award with part time employment.
(or meet a required 75 hours of documented community service)
Special Academic Emphasis Given to Candidates with:

Science
Music
Journalism
Financial: 6 -- $4000 with potential renewal

Chevrolet Classic Clubs of
Omaha/Council Bluffs Automotive Industry Related Scholarship
Eligibility:
1. Pursuing studies related to the automotive industry.
2. Consideration given to scholastic ability, extra curricular
participation and interest in automotive related careers.
Financial:
1 - $1000 (may reapply each year if enrolled in an extended program)
Deadline: April 15
Doane College Teacher Grant Program (TEACH)
Eligibility:
1. Plan to teach in high need subject area (math, science, foreign
language, ESL, or special education) that serves low income students.
2. Minimum 3.25 GPA or rank above 75th percentile in one ACT sub
test.
