NORRIS HIGH SCHOOL COLLEGE CREDIT COURSE OFFERINGS

Norris High School offers a variety of courses in which a student has the option to earn college credits.  AP courses, dual credit and college only credit courses are available.  There are two options to earn credit for an Advanced Placement (AP) course. A student can take the AP exam at the end of the year, or if the AP course is offered as dual credit, tuition can be paid to a participating college.  Students are not required to take the AP exam at the end of the year.  Dual credit courses offer both high school and college credit. Students can also take a dual credit class strictly for high school credit.  A variety of college credit only classes are also available.  Tuition is paid to the participating college for all dual credit and college only credit courses.  A grade of “C” or above is required to receive college credit.

Below is a chart listing the various course offerings and the options available.
