Home Town: I'm originally from Omaha, NE, and now I live in
Lincoln.
Year I Entered the Teaching Profession: 2006
Degrees Held & Institution Received From:
Bachelor of Arts in
Elementary Education and Special Education from Doane College.
Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane
College.
Favorite Thing About Teaching: My students make me smile
and laugh every day! We have sooooo much fun! The relationships I
get to build with kids, families, and staff are wonderfully rewarding,
and the reality of getting to make an eternal impact every day is
incredible.
Family: My parents live in Omaha where my mom is a
6th grade teacher and my dad is a retired PE teacher/football coach.
My younger sister attends UNK and is working towards her degree. My grandparents and the rest of my family are also from Omaha.
All of us enjoy
spending time together eating, talking, and loving life!
Hobbies/Interests: I love spending time with my family
and friends! I enjoy meeting new people and enjoying life together. Here are a few of my favorite things:
