          You will have Miss Wirth for Social Science. 

In 4th grade we use The Nebraska Adventure textbook.  Some of the topics covered are:
                    - Native Americans
                    - Pioneers
                    - Famous Nebraskans
         
The Houghton Mifflon Discovery Works  textbook is used in 4th grade.  Some of the units she will teach include:
                    - Earth's Land
                    - Properties of Matter
                    - Classifying Living Things
                                                            - Magnetism and Electricity
                                                            - Weather and Climate
 
*We take three field trips that relate to our social studies curriculum.  Those include Heritage School, Homestead National Monument in Beatrice, and the State Capitol in Lincoln.
