Favorite thing about teaching: I love to see the "lightbulb" come on for students when they learn something new.  It's exciting to see the learning process in students when they are investigating, researching, and exploring new subjects.  I really enjoy hosting book clubs in my room, and hearing their ideas and feelings about books they've read.
 
Family:  My husband and I live in Hickman.  I have two sons who also live in Hickman with their families.  Andy is married to Corrin and they have two children.  Josh is married to Jaime and they also have two children.  Andy, Corrin, Josh and Jaime all graduated from Norris, and now all my grandchildren will be attending Norris too.

Hobbies/Interest Areas: Reading, scrapbooking, knitting, and playing with my grandchildren; I'm excited to see my grandchildren learn to read
