Dear Parents,

Room 107 welcomes you to my website.  Strong parent-teacher communication is a goal that I believe is essential in order to maximize student learning.  My website is a tool that I hope you can use to communicate with me.

In addition to having the option of calling me at school (791-0020 X2829) or sending a note with your child, I can also be reached via e-mail.  Please feel free to use the e-mail link if you ever have a question, concern, or something you would like to share with me.  I check my e-mail multiple times each day (and during evenings and weekends).

Another one of my goals for my web page is that it will keep you up-to-date on what we're learning in the classroom.  Each week,  a listing of daily homework assignments can be found on the homework page.  In order to give you an idea of what's to come, important dates for things like upcoming tests and projects.

If you want a more detailed look at what we're learning in the classroom, you can visit The Daily Blog, a page filled with student-written articles on what's taking place in Room 107.

Since material published to the Internet can be seen by the world, parent permission must be obtained before I can display children's work on this site.

Again, welcome to Room 107's home on the Web.  Any feedback regarding how I can make this site better would be greatly appreciated.  For more information about the classroom, please visit the links at the top of this page.  Enjoy the site!

Sincerely,

Lisa Spilker
