Welcome room 107's book blog. This page is designed to give students a place to comment and discuss about books they are reading in literature circles and through their personal reading.
Each time a student finishes a book, he or she can log onto our classroom blog and post a comment about the book. Other students can read that student's post and comment on what was written.
The blog is hosted by a terrific website called Kidblog.org. The site was specifically designed to provide free, easy-to-use blogs for elementary and middle school students. All student accounts are password-protected, and student posts and comments are sent to Mrs. Spilker for approval before they are published. This ensures that only appropriate content is published to the blog. No email addresses or personal information is required, and there is no advertising of any kind on the blog. We hope you enjoy reading about what we're reading!
