Food Science

Topics covered will include: 
food production, marketing, processing,
packaging, distribution and safety. 
An emphasis will be placed on the
application of scientific principles
in the production of food products. 
Each student will be responsible for developing
an original food product and preparing it for the class. 
The UN-L Department of Food Science & Technology
will work with students,
exposing them to cutting-edge technology
in the world of food science.
Students will also have the opportunity to see
the facilities & have a guided tour
through the food science &
technology department.
