Housing Design  
 

This is a one semester course which acquisition and
decoration of a home is the focus. 
Furniture, house plans, and basic decorating principles are covered. 
Visiting homes within the community may be a part of this course. 
Skills for profit and pleasure are explored in regard to the furnishing industry. 
Students will demonstrate their abilities through a hands-on project, demonstrating their techniques as well as allow their personalities to show through.

 

   This picture depicts the various house drawings completed in the Housing Design class.  From this point, students mount their drawings and then choose the interior color, design and other elements.
