Grant Morrison gives the Titans late push to beat Gretna, 5-4

Grant Morrison drove in the winning run to give the Norris Titans Varsity the lead in the sixth inning, as the Norris Titans Varsity hung on to beat Gretna 5-4 on Tuesday.

With the score tied at two in the sixth inning, Morrison came to the plate and tripled, scoring Will Reetz, Spencer Johnson and Ethan Ormonde.
Morrison racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Norris Titans Varsity.

The Norris Titans Varsity staved off Gretna as Gretna was unable to match the Norris Titans Varsity down the stretch.

Gretna scored two runs in the seventh on a two-run double by Mason. Still, Gretna couldn't draw even.

Jesse Brown got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over 6 2/3 innings. Brown struck out four, walked one and gave up seven hits.

#12 took the loss for Gretna. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed five runs.

Gretna jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second. Gretna's rally started when Mason singled.
