The Norris Titans Varsity drop 10-3 game to Blair

Despite Cade Kohout's 2-3 performance at the plate on Monday, the Norris Titans Varsity took a 10-3 loss at the hands of Blair.

Maison Burnley handled Blair's lineup with ease, racking up three strikeouts. Burnley allowed one earned run on six hits and no walks over four innings.

Jackson Petersen got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over four innings. Petersen struck out four, walked one and gave up five hits.

Blair was sparked by Petersen and Collin McClain, who teamed up for five hits and two RBIs.

Ethan Ormonde ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in two innings, walked one and struck out none.

The game's last lead went to Blair thanks to a first inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on a sacrifice fly by Nick Nelsen and two singles.

After pushing across two runs in the top of the second, the Norris Titans Varsity faced just a 3-2 deficit. A two-run double by Austin Schultz triggered the Norris Titans Varsity's comeback. Finally, Petersen induced an inning-ending strike out from Garrison Gustin.

Blair quickly matched the Norris Titans Varsity's strong inning with a two-run inning of its own in the second. Blair scored on an RBI double by Damon Jorgensen and an RBI single by Petersen.

One run in the top of the sixth helped the Norris Titans Varsity close their deficit to 7-3. An RBI double by Cade Kohout gave the Norris Titans Varsity life. Nelsen ended the inning by getting Gustin to strike out.
