Norris Elementary School is NCA accredited and includes grades pre-school through four. Teams of teachers are responsible for the reading, writing, spelling, mathematics, science, and social studies program at each grade level. In addition students receive instruction in art, music, physical education, and use of computers and other technology. Norris Elementary School has a Title I program in reading and mathematics, a special education program, and a program for high ability learners. The elementary building sits on the same 160 acre site as the middle school and high school. Approximately 750 students attend Norris Elementary. The elementary building includes a music room, art room, media center, computer laboratory, gymnasium, and multipurpose room. Norris Elementary is a nationally recognized Healthier Schools Program award winning school from The Alliance For A Healthier Generation and a Fuel Up To Play 60 partner with Midwest Dairy.
