Description
This course contains creative dramatics and helps students develop observations
skills, concentration, movement, voice and characterization. Acting theories and
terminologies are discussed.
Course Objectives
1. Students will develop control and command of body and voice.
2. Students will become perceptive of personal growth and abilities as related
to acting.
3. Students will develop their imagination through observation, research and
characterization.
4. Students will participate in the theatre company in the role of a team player
realizing the company is made up of interdependent members.
Writing Activities
1. Students write character analysis papers.
2. Students write a report.
Multicultural Activities
1. Students are exposed to a variety of playwrights representing all races.
2. Students may study a theatre person from all races.
