DESCRIPTION
Adv. Web publishing is a one-semester course that builds from skills learned in
Web Publishing 1. Emphasis will be placed on design and what makes for an
efficient and user-friendly design. Students will update and edit current web
sites that are used on the Norris Web site. The course will start with some
advanced MS FrontPage and Adobe Photoshop editing techniques. Students will also
be introduced to advanced web publishing software such as Macromedia Flash,
Dreamweaver, and Fireworks.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
1. The student will have a strong understand of Photo-editing software (Adobe
Photoshop).
2. The student will be able to use Microsoft FrontPage to create web pages and
web sites.
3. The student will be able to use Macromedia Fireworks and Flash.
WRITING ACTIVITIES
1. Internet Publishing incorporates writing in almost every web page.
2. Students will write small news stories for the Norris Home page.
