Educational Background
I graduated in August 1991, from the University of
Nebraska at Kearney, with a degree in Middle School Education: Science and
Social Science. I took my first full-time teaching position at
Elkhorn Public Schools in August, 1992. I taught sixth grade social
studies and math, and eighth grade math. The next school year I
accepted a teaching position from Lincoln Public Schools. I was
stationed at Culler Middle School, teaching science on the seventh grade
team for seven years. Then teaching science and language arts on the
sixth grade team for one year. In August, 2001, I took up residence
at Norris Public Schools teaching seventh grade social studies. I
graduated from Doane College in May of 2004 with my Master of Education
in Curriculum and Instruction.

Personal Background
I was born over-seas in the Netherlands.
Eventually I ended up in Crete, Nebraska where I attended school K - 12.
I have two daughters named Madalyn, age 6 and Makenna age 2.
We live in the country with our other "children" who consist of Twister (Palomino Quarter horse), Andrew (Appaloosa horse), Rambo (Arabian horse)
and Cherry (fat pony). |
