NORRIS MIDDLE SCHOOL BULLETIN

“D” Day


ALL middle school students will begin state testing Today and continue through Friday.  Testing will take place in your LITT classrooms (if not otherwise assigned) from 9 - 10:20 a.m.  NOTE the testing schedules posted in the hallways.


Track practice will take place at 7 am again on Friday.

TRACK STUDENTS: Reminder that NO students may be in the halls until 8:00 unless going directly to work with a teacher. This rule still applies to athletic/activity competitors!


8TH GRADE: Interested in competitive speech and acting in high school? The HS speech team will have a showcase night Monday, April 16, from 7pm in the S-wing of the HS where you can see the different events in action! Plus free dessert served for 8th graders! Can’t make it but curious? Email or talk to Mr. Rosenau.

FALL COLORGUARD AUDITIONS ARE APRIL 11 AND 12

We will have four sessions to accommodate busy schedules. Choose one session, before or after school, on one of the two days. See Mrs. Andre for more info.

Grab your coats and items off the Lost ‘n Found table.  Weather takes a turn again starting tomorrow and you will want those jackets.


Detasseling - Sloup / Thorell Detasseling has a Norris crew led by Mr. Rettele and Mr. Hagerman. For information - pick up an informational sheet in the middle school Office.  SIgn-up meetings where questions can be answered and application paperwork filled out will be happening soon


There is a pair of black eyeglasses in the office that were left in Mrs. Gault’s classroom last week.   Are they yours? Stop in the office to check.
