Congrats to Coaches Rettele and Maendele and the 8th grade girls BB A team for a win over Nebraska City last night.  Today the teams take on Gretna Aspen.  8th grade will be traveling so please dismiss them at 2:00 today.  Good Luck Lady Titans!

 

When you leave gum on your lunch tray, you make someone else’s job harder!  Be kind - throw your gum into a trash can!


Any boys playing or interested in playing soccer and missed yesterday's meeting 2/9/18 please come to Mr. Hakels room during jumpstart tomorrow -  Tuesday 2/13/18. We will discuss potential free entry to high school soccer games and Gatorade/candy payment for helping out the team.


No HAL Art Club this week.  See you next week!


Due to the weather this game has been moved to Monday, Feb. 19th.  7th Grade is “On the Road Again”  (Famous song by “Willie Nelson”) as they head to Elkhorn Valley View - Please dismiss the players at 2:00 pm.  8th grade will take on Elkhorn Valley View here at home with a 4:15 pm tip off.

REMINDER TO ALL STUDENTS:  The school has furnished you a locker and a lock to keep your items safe.  We are seeing a lot of lockers without locks on them.  We understand is makes it quick to get in and out between classes, but it also makes it quick for someone else to get in and out of your locker as well.


For those of you with an awesome memory, you might remember that Norris Middle School Collected over 1,700 pairs of socks last February during our first annual Sock Drive. This February, hold on to your hats...and bring in your socks. Let's see if we can outdo our donations from last year!  It’s grade against grade - the challenge is on!  New socks, old socks, red socks, blue socks...we will take them all. Any size and Any style! Pairs are preferred and singles are welcome. Please donate new and/or gently used socks!


WHY SOCKS? Socks are consistently one of the most needed items at the Lincoln City Mission. The mission gave out all 8,000 socks that were donated last year in just 3 short months. So often People come to the shelter with nothing but the clothes on their back and socks are more than just a fashion statement but an important part of staying healthy.

The baseball apparel website will be back open today through February 5 at midnight. Apparel should be ready for pick up in the high school weight room within 10-12 working days after the site closes.

The Sapphires Dance Team will be putting on a middle school dance Workshop.  Come find out what dance team is all about by improving your technique.  You will also learn a Sapphires routine to perform to parents following the workshop.  Pick up your registration form at the office.


ALL STUDENTS:   During lunch and recess, students are not to be in the hallways or enter the locker room.


Celtic Culture Camp - Experience traditional Irish, Welsh and Scots customs, through performance & Storytelling, music & Instruments, dancing, history & food.  Camps is for ages 9 - 12; Monday, March 12th - 14th - Roca Ridge Teaching Arts Center  Pick up registration and more information in the MS Office if interested.

Student reminder: Personal Headphones are on your school supply list.  Your teachers request that you keep a set of headphones in your pencil bag for each class.

Activity Passes are available to purchase:  $30 if NOT playing a sport.$50 if playing a sport (7th & 8th Graders) .

Students:  If you purchased an athletic pass to get into home games - take a picture of the pass with your phone if you own one.  You will need to show it, or your pass at the gate in order to get in
