“D” Day

Due to Yesterday being a Snow Day, Friday, February 16 and convert that to a regular student day!


THANK YOU ALL for $100 was donated to the Teammates Program, and $100 to Norris BackPack Program.  What a fun way to donate.  Thank you to Mr. McCain and all that donated and were involved.


Science Quiz Bowl - Friday, Jan. 12, 3:45-4:45 p.m., Room 308, Myers


History Bee - This is IMPORTANT! Our first meeting will be next Tuesday, January 16, when we will take our qualifying test online. You MUST take this test on Tuesday to participate in regionals. If you can’t make it, please see Mrs. Meinke ASAP.


There is the last Trap Team Meeting on Monday January 15th in the HS Multi Purpose Room at 7:00 PM.  If you are a Trap Team Member or want to be a member, you need to be at this meeting.  If you can't be at the meeting let me know and send a parent in your place.  If I don't hear from a member, I will assume you are not on the team anymore and I will remove your name off the Roster.  


Attention all 7th and 8th graders. If you are interested in wrestling this school year, please sign up outside of Mr. Cullison's room. 6th graders interested in being a manager’s please sign up as well. There will be an informational meeting in January.


The Sapphires Dance Team will be putting on a middle school dance Workshop.  Come find out what dance team is all about by improving your technique.  You will also learn a Sapphires routine to perform to parents following the workshop.  Pick up your registration form at the office.


Norris High School Cheerleaders Cheer Clinic:  Friday, January 19th after School.  


Are you interested in a trip to swim with the Dolphins, Snorkel, Kayaking, Discover methods that researchers and veterinarians use.  Then this trip is for you.  Stop by the MS Office and pick up a packet that contains more information.  There is an informative meeting January 25th, at 6:00 p.m. in the MS Library.

 

ALL STUDENTS:   During lunch and recess, students are not to be in the hallways or enter the locker room.

Student reminder: Personal Headphones are on your school supply list.  Your teachers request that you keep a set of headphones in your pencil bag for each class.

It’s Here:  The Winter Edition to the Lincoln Kids Newspaper.  It’s full of fun activities, camps, Holiday Ideas and great artwork done by students just like you Pick one up in the MS Office.

Looking for 6th Grade Girls and Boys interested in Soccer.  Grab an informational flyer in the MS Office Brochure Holder for more information.

Activity Passes are available to purchase:  $30 if NOT playing a sport.$50 if playing a sport (7th & 8th Graders) .

Students:  If you purchased an athletic pass to get into home games - take a picture of the pass with your phone if you own one.  You will need to show it, or your pass at the gate in order to get in.
