NORRIS HIGH SCHOOL DAILY BULLETIN – November 13, 2017

                                  

TODAY’S ACTIVITIES:

Sophomore class meeting in the auditorium during IAP today

Start of Winter Practice

 

The Winter Semi-Formal Danceis this upcoming Friday, November 17th from 8:00-11:00 p.m. in the north gym. Doors will open at 8:00 and close at 8:30. Enter through the north door (by Mrs. Goracke’s room).  Tickets cost $8 presale and $10 at the door. Tickets will be sold Monday the 13th through Thursday the 16th during all three lunches at the concessions stand.

New this year: VIP tickets. VIP tickets are available to juniors and seniors for $20. VIP ticket holders will be provided free food, beverages, and a private hangout area. VIP tickets will only be sold Mon-Thurs.

**Students must be in good academic standing to attend the dance. Out-of-school date forms are available in the high school office and must be turned in by Wednesday the 15th.


Today is the last day to order a “Save the Bees”  t-shirt!


Starting Monday, if you bring your artificial Christmas trees for decorations for winter formal, receive half-off your winter formal ticket! Bring the trees to Mrs. Hansmeyer's room starting on Monday!


SENIORS & SOPHOMORES:  Jostens representative will be here this Friday during lunch to take orders for announcements and class rings.  Seniors - you are reminded that you need to turn in an order form even if you are not planning to order graduation products.  We need the form to order your cap and gown.

Joseph's College of Hair is sponsoring an Open House event Nov 13th (Lincoln Campus) from 1-3 p.m.  This includes a tour and an interactive class on hair design.  Call or text Marcis at 402-525-3619 to RSVP.


Titans Got Talent is coming up soon!  :)  The big date is November 14 at 7:00 PM.  We have 25 WONDERFUL acts including high school, middle school, elementary, and community performing for 3 places and cash prizes selected by the audience.  Gold, 68th Street Singers and Titanaires are also competing for your votes!  :)  It is going to be a fun night.  Titans Got Talent is sponsored by the Vocal Music Patrons and is also a fundraiser for the organization.  Get you tickets now for only $10.  You may buy them from Patti Wieskamp in the high school office; at the door one hour before the show; or on line at Brown Paper Tickets.  The website link is:  https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3116375     SEE YOU ON THE 14th of NOVEMBER!  :)
