Sketchbook Procedures
You will be required to complete 8 sketches every 9 weeks. 4 of
these will come from the list below and 4 of them will be of your own choosing.
You can turn in 2 of these in every 2 weeks or all of them can be turned in at the end
of the 8th week.
For the best possible grade:
1. Draw large & use the whole page.
2. Shade or color your picture completely.
3. Do not tear your pages out - leave them in the sketchpad.
4. Strive for realism - avoid simple cartoons, logos, or stick
people.
5. Use any medium and don't be afraid to mix them together.
Drawing List
Draw trash can with some of its contents showing.
Draw a house plant (real or fake).
Draw tools used in a certain profession.
Draw a tennis shoe.
Draw a grouping of leaves.
Draw a large jar and fill it up with something.
Draw your favorite snack food.
Draw an object melting.
Draw a bowl of fruit (1/2 of it in color 1/2 in black and white).
Draw hands holding something.
Draw a mechanical object.
Draw the view through a key hole (make it large).
Draw your favorite animal.
Draw a musical instrument.
Draw a caricature of someone you know or someone famous.
Design new advertising for an existing product.
Draw an outdoor scene
