2-D Design

Each student will expand upon skills developed in Introductory Art within a two dimensional framework.  Advanced drawing and design techniques will be explored as will printing processes such as block, etching, silkscreen, and vinyl.  Basic elements of art and the principles of design will be incorporated into each area.  Emphasis will be on creating a more finished and refined product.  Students will be required to keep an up-to-date sketchbook for weekly grades.  Students must have satisfactorily completed Introductory Art or received permission from the instructor.
