Other Important Information about Summer School

Registration: Registration is now open.  There is no preferential registration.  Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis only.

Fees: A non-refundable $25 material fees deposit must be made in order to reserve a summer school spot.  A separate check for $100 must be made out to Norris High School and will be held and returned to you upon successful completion of the summer school course.  Contact Mr. Skretta directly if you want to participate in summer school and believe you qualify for a fee waiver [wards of the state].

Attendance: Because summer school demands concentrated study over a shorter period of time, any student who is absent more than three times for any reason may be dropped.

Conduct: student rules and regulations as stated in the Norris Student Handbook apply during summer school and students are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times.

Transportation: no bus transportation or other provisions for transportation are available to students who take summer school at Norris High School.  Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from summer school.
