Norris Elementary Parent Teacher Organization-PTO

Did you know, in the last 4 years, the Norris PTO has provided:

 

· Elementary playground equipment       

· A TV in every classroom

· Each pod with two cameras

· A donation for the butterfly garden

· Monthly roller skating parties

· A donation for the High School Picnic Shelter

· Every student with a book for their birthday

· Donation for purchase of ‘rainy day' activities for each pod 

· Yearly donations to teachers for classroom supplies

· A display case  and computer in the main elementary hallway

· LCD monitors for classrooms

· An annual PTO scholarship

· Planners for each 4th grade student

Amplification systems for each classroom

· Continuous donations to the walking path

 

Did you also know…

· Meetings are only 60 minutes once a month

· 50—60 parent volunteers at the Craft Fair help raise $1500—$2000

· 250 parent volunteers at the carnival help raise $10,000—$12,000

for OUR children

· Every Norris parent is a member of PTO...we want you to be an active member!

Please join us for monthly PTO meetings the first

Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the

 Elementary Media Center.

 

Child care is available.
