Norris Middle School volleyball has been off to a great start. They have been practicing since the first week of school in August.  They have been working hard to improve their great skills. You can tell that they will be successful in their up coming years.
The eighth grade team started the season with a blow out against Falls City, with both the A and the B team winning.  Waverly was the next victim in their victorious path, again having A and B winning. This last weekend they got Runner-Up in the Norris 8^th grade Volleyball Tournament, at Norris. They won the first game against Fairbury, winning 15-6 and 15-7.  We lost a tough game to Waverly, 10-15 and 5-15. The team has four more games left in their season, which we should win easy.
The seventh grade team hasn't got off to such a great start as the eighth graders. They lost their first games, but they gave them a fight. Don't worry because they will get their game on, and be good in their upcoming years.
We wish both teams luck in their upcoming games and seasons.
